WHY SURGICAL RESTORATION

A Permanent Solution—Not a Monthly Subscription

Medications slow loss. Shampoos do less than that. Surgical hair restoration is the only approach that moves your own follicles — ones genetically resistant to DHT — to areas where hair has thinned or stopped growing entirely. Once transplanted, those follicles behave exactly as they would in their original location. They grow. They stay.
Not every patient is a candidate, and we’ll tell you that honestly in your consultation. Donor supply, scalp laxity, hair caliber, and the pattern and progression of hair loss all factor into what’s possible. What we can tell you is that if you’re a candidate, the results are as close to permanent as hair restoration gets.
Precision Hair Restoration offers three surgical approaches because no single technique is right for every patient. ARTAS iXi robotic FUE is our primary differentiator — and the reason most patients seek us out specifically — but we also perform manual FUE and FUT for patients whose candidacy calls for it. The goal isn’t to sell you a procedure. It’s to recommend the right one.

THREE TECHNIQUES. ONE GOAL.

ARTAS iXi Robotic Hair Transplant

The most precise FUE available. The ARTAS iXi system maps your scalp in real time, harvesting follicular units with sub millimeter accuracy and consistent angulation — something manual harvesting can’t fully replicate at scale. Precision Hair Restoration has held ARTAS iXi certification since 2015 and earned a Platinum Award for robotic FUE excellence.
Ideal for patients who want the most minimally invasive option, faster recovery, and no linear scar. The robotic system also creates recipient sites with calculated density, reducing the risk of overharvesting the donor area.
OUR SIGNATURE

Follicular Unit Extraction (FUE)

Individual follicular units harvested one at a time from the donor area, leaving only small, circular micro-punctures that heal without a linear scar. FUE is the right call for patients who want to wear their hair short, have tight scalp laxity, or are good candidates but prefer a manual technique for specific clinical reasons.

Recovery is typically 7–10 days. Most patients return to normal activity within a week and see early growth at 3–4 months.

Follicular Unit Transplantation (FUT)

A thin strip of donor tissue is removed from the back of the scalp, follicular units are dissected under magnification, then transplanted to the recipient area. FUT allows for higher graft counts in a single session — making it the preferred approach for patients with significant loss who need maximum coverage.
FUT does leave a linear scar, but it’s easily concealed with typical hair length. For the right patient, the graft yield advantage is significant.

WHICH PROCEDURE IS RIGHT FOR YOU?

Use this as a starting point, not a diagnosis. The only way to know your candidacy is a consultation — but this gives you a framework going in.
